Fans Welcome BTS's J-Hope After Finishing Military Service K-pop star J-Hope, a member of BTS, was discharged from South Korea's military on October 17 after 18 months of service. Dressed in uniform and a black beret, the 30-year-old was greeted by fellow member Jin and around 100 cheering fans at a military base in Wonju. He is the second BTS member to complete mandatory service, following Jin's discharge in June.
