Four IDF Troops Killed in Gaza Fighting, Russia Slams "Irresponsible" Pager Attack on Hezbollah The Israel Defense Forces announced that four Israeli soldiers were killed and several others injured during fighting in southern Gaza. The slain troops were Cpt. Daniel Mimon Toaff, Staff Sgt. Agam Naim, Staff Sgt. Amit Bakri and Staff Sgt. Dotan Shimon. Their deaths brought Israel’s toll in the Gaza ground offensive and border operations to 348. The toll includes a police officer killed in a hostage rescue operation and a civilian Defense Ministry contractor. Dozens of female soldiers were killed during Hamas’s October 7 onslaught on Israel.
